1. Do I need to book?
Yes, we are very popular so booking is essential. Just text the tea hotline on 07526 744765 or send a message from the website to enquire.
2. Do you cater for special diets?
We cater for vegetarian diets, gluten free, nut free and halal. Our afternoon tea is not suitable for dairy free or vegan guests.
3. Do you have parking?
There is street parking outside the shop but it can be tricky to find a space. There are several multi story car parks within a few minutes walk.
4. Do you sell vouchers for afternoon tea?
Yes we do! They are cute and great for gifting. Come to the shop and buy some!
5. Can we share a portion between us?
No, it is company policy for one portion per guest
6. Do you do discounts for larger groups?
No, the price is always £18 per guest
7. We have a wheelchair user in our group, can we get in?
Yes we have a ramp access at the rear of our tearoom for pushchairs or wheelchairs. Make sure you mention this on booking and we will ensure you are seated on the main floor where the toilet is also situated.
8. We have booked a party, can we decorate?
We only allow helium balloons and small table decorations. You are not allowed to tape anything to walls or use confetti in any form as it stains the tables
9. Can I bring prosecco?
We aren't licenced here but you can bring some along! We have ice buckets and glasses available to hire
10. I don't drink hot drinks, what can I have instead?
We have fresh water available if you'd prefer, but also have a range of cold drinks available at an extra cost
11. What is your guest capacity?
Booking sizes vary...our downstairs tearoom has a capacity of 30 guests maximum
12. Do you allow children?
Yes of course, we are a family business and love little ones. Let us know when you book that there are children in your group and we can make sure there is adequate seating.
